Aurora Fossil Museum  

 

Free to all visitors.  Marine fossils and land mammals found along the Coastal Plain.  Two buildings display fossils and a collection of minerals and gems. 


By Spring of 2010 we plan on opening another building to the public and always have two piles of reject provided by PCS Phosphate for our visitors to find their own shark teeth fossils.  We are located in Aurora, NC off Hwy 33 East and the phone number is 252-322-4238.
