Island Bookstore is a full-service, year-round general bookstore offering books on all subjects including fiction, cooking, travel, biography, the Outer Banks region, history, audiobooks and an extensive children's section.
Beyond books, one can find puzzles, greeting cards, cottage guest books, and stationary. New York Times hardcover bestsellers are discounted, special orders are welcome and shipping is available.
Hours: Monday - Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Off season hours: Sunday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Mid-September - Mid-May
