As owner/operator of Tar-Pam Guide service, I would like to thank you for your interest and welcome you to our website. Tar-Pam Guide Service is a year-round guide service specializing in light tackle fishing in the Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds and their tributaries. Our home waters are the Pamlico, Pungo, and Roanoke Rivers. Come fishing on a fully rigged 22′ Pathfinder Bay Boat powered by a 200 hp Yamaha outboard.
The estuaries and rivers of Eastern North Carolina have excellent year round fishing for a number of different species including Striped Bass, American and Hickory Shad, Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Tarpon. To take advantage of these many resources, I keep my boat on a trailer and fish wherever I think you will catch fish at that particular time of year. Please refer to “Our Fisheries” for a breakdown of what we catch during each of our fishing seasons.
