Goose Creek State Park
Experience the beauty of marsh and swamp as you hike the well-marked trails and boardwalks of this 1,670-acre park bordering the Pamlico River.
Launch your boat or canoe at Dinah's Landing access, paddle the three-mile canoe trail into Upper Goose Creek, fish or swim on the shores of the Pamlico River, and picnic in one of many scenic areas where tables await.
Interactive exhibits at the Environmental Education and Visitors Center reveal the "Wonders of Wetlands".
Primitive tent camping, available year-round and a group site, open seasonally allow visitors to relax and view nature at its best.
