Cool Spring Baptist Church was organized September 17, 1828. The year is noted on the front of building. It has been a place of worship in the Eure community for the last 182 years. If the walls could talk, they would tell of the struggles of men and women in the community whose goal in life was to make sure the Eure community had a place to worship. The church has the old timey accordion doors which allows the same facility to be used for Sunday school classes and worship. The church is one of the oldest in the county.

Cool Spring is located in Eure, NC at 1460 NC Hwy 137. If you turn at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Hwy 137 and go approximately 1 mile, the church will be on the right. Anyone is welcome to visit and a tour may be set up by contacting the pastor, Roger Kiker, at 252-357-0925.
