Port Discover is a new hands-on science center for kids and their families to explore and interact with the science around them. It’s a community-based, non-profit organization, established to enhance the public's understanding and enjoyment of science through engaging programs, activities, and exhibits.
Special attention is given to what’s unique about North Carolina’s Albemarle. Program themes include Environmental and Marine Sciences, Aviation Science, Biology, Physical Sciences, Health & Wellness, Agricultural Sciences, and Planetary Sciences. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
